HOURS OF WORK
Full time Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Occasional night-time online meetings may be required.
CONTRACT DURATION
Initially 1 year (including a 2-month probation period) with possibility of extension.

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an enthusiastic Business Development/Sales Associate to join our team in promoting and selling Zymo Research products and bioinformatics solutions. This role focuses on developing business opportunities for our microbiome and molecular biology kits, as well as bioinformatics services. The ideal candidate will combine scientific understanding with sales skills to effecticely communicate our products' value to research institutions, laboratories, and biotechnology companies.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the promotion and sales of Zymo Research kits for microbiome analysis and molecular biology applications.
- Assist in presenting and demonstrating our bioinformatics solutions to potential clients.
- Help maintain relationships with laboratories, research institutions, and biotechnology companies.
- Participate in product training to develop deep understanding of Zymo Research kit applications and bioinformatics solutions
- Support the preparation of technical product presentations and proposals
- Assist in organizing and attending scientific exhibitions and trade shows
- Help track sales activities and maintain customer relationship management records.
- Gather market intelligence on competitor products and pricing - Coordinate with the technical team to provide product support information to customers
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in sales or customers service, preferably in life sciences.
- Understanding of basic molecular biolygy techniques and applications
- Proficient in English (written & spoken)
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office Suite)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to understand and explain technical product features
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through capabilities
- Nationality: Vietnam
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Laboratory experience with DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, or NGS workflows
- Basic understanding of microbiome analysis and bioinformatics
